When Nick Clegg was deputy prime minister, we spent a week shadowing him on trains, in meetings, and in his private office at the House of Parliament. We even joined him for a tennis lesson. Our goal was to gain an insight into the man behind the public persona.

Ultimately, it was only our young production team who were granted the privilege of witnessing the true behind-the-scenes reality of a politician’s life, as much of the footage was cut from the final edit.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the final say on the political broadcast. We never imposed our ideas on anyone, but at least we were able to offer our perspective. Sometimes, change happens one small step at a time.
