To be as forward thinking as Octopus necessitates an entrepreneurial culture throughout - everybody contributing ideas, nothing off the table.
Instead of bringing our own ideas to this project we decided to draw them out of the staff. People presume financial services companies aren’t full of ‘creative’ people - nonsense. These guys came up with ideas we could never have imagined.
We helped people find their voice, suggest things, even crazy things, it made for an offsite that was unforgettable and created a working partnership for several years.
